I agree that the Democrats can’t only be the party of anti-racism and anti-homophobia. They need to provide a more thoroughgoing narrative.

The answer to the escape from Alcatraz (at least the famous one that Clint Eastwood made a movie about) is “They definitely drowned”. There is absolutely no mystery there.
