This. I’ve never seen someone get so much credit for drafting 1 player who was the most obvious #1 pick in the history of the draft.

Umm. No. Bill Polian was a shit GM who happened to have the Peyton Manning fall into his lap.
He drafted a no brainer at QB and basicly nothing else. his inability to build a team was a major part of why one of the greatest qbs in NFL history only had one superbowl win with the colts.

that too lol. his blackness immediately tells me he’s not a pocket passer, and that he lacks the grittiness required for the job.
I meaaaaan... this is fine? I feel like calling out Wendy’s in the original headlines was kinda shitty? Obviously the message was cut out fast food but Brown’s experience was tied to a nearby Wendy’s. So while it can be pointed out in the article that he stopped going to Wendy’s, calling them out in the headline makes…
“As someone once said, shut up and dribble.”
That’s a lot of Ks for someone who pitches to contact
Girlfriend is a consultant; it is a real tension point when she talks about work and I have to not explode in rage.
Agreed. My wife is a consultant. Her jargon slips into our daily conversations and it drives me nuts. She is frequently “flagging” concerns/opinions and making sure we’re “aligned” on things like what to make for dinner, among other phrases.
Consulting is less its own industry than the meta-industry of applying shitty jargon to other industries.
Let me get that deck by end of business, I’d like to see a 50,000 foot view to outline the strategic priorities. Don’t try to boil the ocean here, some back of the envelope math should work just fine but we will need to do a deep dive later. I have a hard stop at 6 so I would like to review it by then, in fact, maybe…
Can we table the next question and backtrack for a second?
This reply synergizes well with the article. I really like how you drilled-down into the list.
Consulting. Next question.
He should consider himself lucky.
I am the first to admit my 5 year old son can be annoying as fuck. He’s also 5 and probably doesn’t deserve to be insulted — and being called an annoying fuck is, in fact, an insult — by a grown man broadcasting to thousands of people.
Ummm ok? It’s still incredibly inappropriate for someone with no relationship to said child to call them a “pissant” on a regional radio station.
