This show is fantastic at ramping up the absurdity in a way that maintains a core logic, just like "Next Time on Lonny". I had several friends who had never even heard of Cougar Town until the Community episode; I had to patiently explain to them that it was a "It's Always Sunny" if the Gang wasn't terrible and had an over-reliance on acoustic guitars.
