It’s almost impossible to draw an accurate parallel for what happened in that match. It’s almost like a below average college team knocking off a super bowl team in football.

It was Manning in his comfort zone, something the Broncos would be wise to remember: it wasn’t until after he threw a pick-six in the second quarter that Denver gave up on its overhauled run-heavy, play-action offense, returning to the no-huddle, shotgun, three-receiver sets that Manning has favored throughout his…
Football is way more violent than Rugby. Football teaches you to simply go for the big hit and because you’re wearing a helmet and a bunch of pads you naturally feel like you can launch yourself and you’ll be fine. Only in the last couple years have they actually made attempts to get players to stop using their…
Obviously it’s a totally different game, but the position he played in Rugby actually translates really well to returning kicks, etc. His skills as a running back don’t look to shabby, either! I hope he does well...
Just like scooping up a loose ball... Only could have been better if Watt picked up the dog with his jaws and then Hall came over and bit Watt.
This guy is like a character straight out of Trailer Park Boys...
Oh I definitely agree. I played open side flanker and it's a choice you have to make at least a few times a game - do you commit and go through that man or pull up? He got lucky and it turned out right, but as you said, just slightly different position from Plisson and its a red card. I just wondered if I was missing…
That looked like a perfectly legal hit to me. He didn't launch himself through the air but he WAS already committed to the tackle when the ball was passed, he wrapped him up, he didn't hit him too high. Can someone who thinks this should have been a penalty please tell me why?
Is there farm concussion protocol?
Bullshit. People drive like assholes all day, everywhere. Speeding past pedestrians in parking lots or crosswalks, cutting off other drivers, and generally doing all kinds of dumb things that could cause someone else's death. So spare me your exaggerated concern for life.
I was a bike messenger. I participated in many alleycats during that time. I also have a drivers license and a car. I particularly love the drivers here who are so worried about pedestrians getting hit by a bicycle but probably give 2 shits if that same pedestrian is hit by a road raging driver. We ignore driving…
You're probably right - I just see little difference between he and his son. They treat these teams like a vulture capital firm strip-mining profits and leaving a shell there for all of us to look at. The way he is fucking with St. Louis is pretty bad, too...
I read about that. My first thought about it was, "yeah, that sounds like something he would do." I am sorry he is doing that. STL deserves a team more than LA.
I am a Colorado fan in general, so I WANT all of our sports teams to do well. Unfortunately we get Kroenkes and Monforts as owners. Bowlen is a good owner, but he doesn't make up for the crappiness of the other 2.
True, but I'm assuming that the knowledge of how to ruin a pro sports team has been genetically passed to him.... Same result as all of Dad's work.
The key here is that Kroenke is a fucking HORRIBLE owner. As long as he is on top we will sadly be stuck with this type of team. He is the kiss of death for all the pro sports teams he owns.
The basics of the cockpit are much like our Element - only much much cooler.
I was one who suggested an Audi R8 and I think this is fantastic.
Define "countless"? So far we have heard from a former QB who claims he paid guys to scuff balls, not deflate them. I don't think we have any proof that "EVERY" other team does this.
