The Arkham Horror LCG involves an ongoing story and allows you to carry characters and other earned effects between games. This supplement is standalone in that you may not bring in effects from prior games, nor bring out any resulting boosts/penalties.

Both of the two modern Satanist “religions” are explicitly non-theistic, with the “Satan” figure taken as a metaphorical representation of independence and freedom from orthodoxy rather than an actual being that is being worshiped.

Editor-in-chief means that he controls the published content, but not necessarily the whole company.

His name is actually “Error”. It’s supposed to be part of a pair with another character named “Bug”, but that character’s name was mistranslated into “Bagu”.

Those who are charged have a 99% conviction rate.

Actually, Nintendo’s defenses are really impressive this time around. There are no significant flaws in anything past 1.0.0. (There are minor userland exploits, but those can only be used to run simple software, not install new titles or make significant OS-level changes.)

The problem is not that people don’t know what the greater-than symbol means, but that “>” is ambiguous. In that context, it could also act as an arrow, implying a transformation or replacement. Since those are almost always done left-to-right, a “<” would be unambiguous in that context.

Most Android games with hidden cards implement local multiplayer by a “pass the phone” system, where only one person sees the screen at a time. Presumably, local play for TtR will be implemented similarly, although this doesn’t work with TV play.

Or they could simply have it such that, if you reference a non-existent model, it loads a default image. Mod psuedo-compatibility without allowing multiplayer exploits.

I’m presuming you’re in the middle of Chapter 2 right now, based on your “three dungeons in” remark.

It’s not actually based on your party’s level, exactly.

According to TVTropes, it’s called “Platform Hell”, at least for the platformers.

Depends on the system.

I think you were almost right. Nintendo certainly doubled down on decisions that hurt the Wii U, it’s just that those decisions turned out to be things that were great ideas on their own that were bogged down by the Wii U’s more “traditional” half. I remember an article showing someone using their Wii U basically how

The promise of more fun/story/whatever later. You “invest” time now to get the payout later.
