DCS is a pretty good current sim that’s like that. Modules feature anywhere from easy flight to full simulated ‘study’ planes. It also highlights that there’s more to air combat than dogfights. That’s because the cutscenes are all pre-rendered. gameplay is sharp for me thanks to tweaking, but fuck I can’t stand that the cutscenes. “hey let’s have all the cutscenes pre-rendered at bare minimum quality.” Who the fuck thinks like this?
