I just re registered as an independent from democrat. The Democrats are full of it. – mikeween, Los Angeles, March 31, 2018

It’s rudeness like this from you Democrats and other Leftists that made us Conservatives vote for President Trump, somehow!

I may be an outlier, but I do complain a bit about it when it breaks some immersion and breaks the game more than it helps. More like guns being too OP/never jamming in Total War games. I realize even those games are not supposed to be historically accurate (Rome has elite units that never existed), but like I said,

Exactly this! There was plenty of evidence. This ‘no evidence’ stuff is being used a lot lately by journal/activists to try and counter things they just don’t like. It is exceedingly transparent and gross. All three Tiger people on the show are pieces of shit in different ways. Attempted murderer redneck, polygamous

I, like millions of others, watched Tiger King and I walked away with two conclusions. First, this country is packed with crazy people and second, all the main tiger people were terrible, awful people I wouldn’t trust with a rusty nickel, much less the welfare of a big cat.

I’m sorry, maybe I’m not reading the statement correctly and I don’t get that this is sarcasm, but this is just not true. Circumstantial evidence is still evidence.

Remember they also claimed that The Joker was the most polarizing movie of last year too *eyeroll*

The offical AV Club party line is that The Last Jedi was an amazing movie that revitalized the Star Wars franchise, and if you didn’t like it you are a sexist CHUD who deserves to rot in your parents’ basement for all eternity.

There’s a very contrarian bent when it comes to Star Wars in certain places, especially here.

Star Wars films can never be accused of being great art, but they shouldn’t be boring. TLJ was dull as hell.

Hell, The Last Jedi was one of the best things to happen to this series in decades and people are still arguing about how it was actually bad.

Exactly! What was this sanctimonious bullshit in the article? Why have NONE of the articles about the other record attempts whined about those things? It has ALWAYS been illegal to race on streets... even endurance race which generally involves a lot of speeding. You aren’t supposed to race everywhere... anytime. Durin

They don’t explicitly endorse it, but they give it publicity and profit from it in clicks, advertisements, etc. The Drive employs that gnat Alex Roy and Jalopnik pushed his terrible documentary on us several times last year. He even had the gall to drop into the comments and try to argue his case.

Get this trash off

No but they have given a lot of positive press to the guys who broke the record in November and when Ed did it all those years ago

I don’t believe Jalopnik or any other serious car site has ever endorsed street racing.

No, it implies racing, on the street.

The previous EIC of this site didn’t seem to have a problem with the cannonball...

By your logic then, every single person who has ever broken the speed limit has been involved in a street racing incident.

I think the idea that it’s somehow worse to do this during the coronavirus is quite wrong—yes, a crash will pull resources away from the virus, but a crash during “normal” times could very well kill a family or other innocent roadgoers. Minimizing the risk of that kind of incident seems to at least balance the

“If literally one thing goes wrong—if the team needs to call for help or a tow truck, if they get stopped, if they crash—literally anything goes wrong here and these guys would be pulling resources from an otherwise already overloaded system, not to mention potentially increasing the risk of contracting coronavirus by

“prequels at least had a direct, character development and flow”

Characters in the prequels talk like a not-particularly-convincing AI wrote them. Unnervingly, that AI is George Lucas.
