Nostalgia being what it is, I’m sure you really do believe that it was a near perfect port ,on the 7800 at least. Which was the worst selling of all Atarti systems, selling less than even the Master System.

SMB2 was one of the best selling games of all time at launch. In two years, it sold more copies in the US than

That makes sense, it was your first experience playing a Zelda game. Did you play the first one as your next Zelda?
And I agree, I love the sound track, it was so unexpectedly good

When I first saw them, I couldn’t figure out what I thought about them. But as time went on, I really grew attached to how they looked. They’re just kind of cool in an understated way. A red Flex with a white roof carries a lot of “old woody beach wagon” vibes. This video made me look into them when the one guy said

Whether or not Kotick is right or wrong, or anything really, he’s just a piece of shit and should just shut up and sit down.

Of all of the things I don’t like about people petty competitive behavior is one of the worst. I can deal with nitpicking and nagging people, but holy hell are one uppers just the worst.

Non car related, but, at one point, I was taking several architectural drafting classes (across three semesters). And I

See above comment.
But also, I don’t know much about Ikari Warriors aside from I don’t like either game, so I can’t comment on it.

I might be splitting hairs, but Street Fighter wasn’t on the NES, it was only an arcade game. Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight had no prequel on the NES. Like with Mario Bros, most

Maybe, but reality says it would have just been that game that everyone makes videos about with titles like “nobody remembers this game, but...” Despite there being hundreds of articles about how that game “is better than you remember”, kind of like it does now.

Mario Bros. Was an arcade game that was really only known if you went to the arcade. Super Mario Bros. was billed as something different. And it was bundled with the NES likely being the majority of players’ first experiences with the franchise. SMB2 (us) was the same kind of side-scroller gameplay, but more advanced.

This is my take on Zelda II as well. Had they given it a different name, it would have done fine, in my opinion. But we wanted Zelda and instead got a weird version of castlvania. Once you set that aside, it is a lot of fun to play (of course with save states)

As a person who used to deride Zelda II as being a terrible game, I have gone a full 180 on it. It’s actually pretty great.
And I firmly believe that had Zelda II been called anything else and not associated with the first Zelda, it’d be remembered a lot more fondly.

But everyone was expecting a sequel like Link to

Look, I know nothing of this guy, I don’t find watching other people play games fun. But what I do know is that top pic has dude looking like a low poly rendering of a character from UT99

My father has always been the “but mine is better” kind of guy. I had recently gotten a new (to me) 2010 Forester XT and he had gotten some newer (2015, I think) Equinox that he had blacked out.

When I first rolled up to his house, he saw my car (he didn’t know I sold my 98 forester and gotten the 2010XT) and started

Is this one of those “we’ll write a bunch of non-sense that’ll get people commenting” articles, because it feels like one of those.

It’s Zelda. It’s the sequel to one of the best selling Zelda games of all time on one of the best selling consoles of all time. Nintendo is very known for delaying Zelda games with little

All in all, it doesn’t seem like such a bad ending. And I hope the new series has cameos by Ash and Pikachu. I was kind of hoping the final season would whiplash back to his OG design as I still don’t like his redesign.

Although I didn’t really watch/ keep up with the series after around 2010, it was one of those

Goku and Veggie almost never physically battle. Veggie’s biggest goal is to surpass Goku in power, which he’s rarely done. The biggest difference in their power is in their first arc together in which Goku had to resort to powerup tricks.
After that, Goku kept surpassing Veggie time and time again. He hit Super Saiyan

That’s the first thing I noticed. I think the teeth are fine, for what it’s worth, it’s how the lips move over them. It looks like the lips are fighting with the teeth for space while talking

If his comment was “boring (odd choice of word), yours grossly ignores his point entirely

Fun Fact about Medal of Honor is that the game was originally co-owned by Microsoft and Dreamworks. Not sure when that changed, but I still find it interesting.

Sony really did have a chance to build a game franchise that could have taken on CoD, but since they had to be dragged kicking and screaming into cross platform play, SOCOM died.
It was a competent enough game that had they ported it to the PC with cross platform play, it could have been a much bigger entry. But

Medal of Honor? That franchise was never really good to begin with.
They already had their CoD killer in the Battlefield franchise, but in true EA fashion, they heard cries of the consumers and just assumed it must be the rain and moved on.
Battlefield could easily be the CoD killer if EA actually gave a shit about
