Honestly, I’ll just be excited to get back into a car. For all that it’s worth, I had a 2010 Forester XT and was very happy with it. I’d wanted one, saved for it and finally got one December 8th, 2019. On December 15, 2020, some old man rear-ended me at a stoplight, probably doing about 40-50 before he braked. In my

Depends on the kind of van you want. That same van and a 16ft trailer hauled a Subaru Legacy GT wagon close to 100 miles. Good purchase, even had a back full of furniture and tools.

He often tows a 16ft trailer for jobs. The previous life of his van was a church hauler.

Maaaan, that sounds like a great trip. I was planning on taking a drive to the middle of nowhere in the Michigan’s UP on Christmas (it’s kind of a recent tradition of mine). There are quite a few nice waterfalls that freeze over a bit. However, I was rear-ended by a possibly inebriated old man a couple nights ago

I don’t know what vans you’re driving (an AWD van would down a tank quick), but my friend’s old extended Chevy gets around 12mpg in the city and quite a bit more on the highway, I forgot what he said. Contrast that to my friend’s pickup which, when I was helping him on a job, said gets around 10city, depending on how

Probably not, but MA is a very small state with a small population.
In MI, people are rolling coal all over the place and revving at stoplights for no reason. It’s easy to spot the modified exhausts of these useless vehicles. Though, it’s funny how the roll around downtown, just cruising up and down the streets of my

Again, what’s the point though? Why not just drop the extended cab and get a larger bed? If you’ve already got another vehicle to haul people in?

My friend owns a furniture store, specializing in huge/ heavy midcentury furniture, he’s also a wood worker. Drives a large chevy van. Gets better mileage than most pickups

I don’t know, seems the length is an issue when even six foot boards aren’t comfortably sitting behind the gate. Like damn, the Subaru Baja with it’s fold out gate and opening into the cab from the bed can haul a six foot board without it sticking out over the back of the truck.

The best part is how absolutely useless they are for hauling anything in the beds. With those over-sized cabins eating into the bed as manufacturers try to position them for family comfort. I was buying lumber the other day, shoving a bunch of lumber into the back of my Forester, just some six and 8ft boards and all

Using remote play is hardly the best option or even a decent option.

Microsoft literally had an online configurator to make whatever color combination abomination controllers you wanted. I think they took it down as they transition to Xbox Series controllers or whatever. But for a while, they were there for all  your needs. It’ll probably make a come back though.

Gonna be honest, I didn’t even know it was still a thing.

That thing looks amazing.  I wish that’s what we got instead. The nomad is still pretty cool though.

Ahh yes. Kadabra, the fox-headed, three towed creature with the big bushy tail looks so much like Geller, how did we ever miss that. Man, the bias is strong.
Geller is a sham, the case was a sham. The only similarities are a spoon and unlike Geller, Kadabra lives in a universe where psychic powers are real.

The slideshows are terrible on the desktop and even worse on a phone.

Cool story, but you put in what you feel like putting in. Considering I generally don’t spend less than $2k on computer and I mostly play racing games or sims like American Truck Simulator. And I paid somewhere around $400 for a wheel and pedals for my old Xbox (they were on sale), I don’t see what you’re getting at.

I can’t see your point here. You’d be running into this same issue on consoles as well. Any racing game, from Forza to Gran Tourismo, is far better with a proper wheel and pedals setup.

I agree with the first part, but the the last part I just can’t. Maybe it’s because I switched to PC, but damn was the PS2 looking terrible when the 360/ PS3 dropped.
Though, I guess if you were comparing the Xbox to the 360/ PS3 launch titles, the difference was a bit less. Between how good Forza 1, Splinter Cell,

I loved Phantom Dust on the Xbox. I won’t ruin anything for you, but it is a game I was realllly hoping would garner a sequel. It’s a lot of fun on my own, but I always wanted to try it’s multiplayer out. But at the time, I did not have the internet. But I did play through it twice, first finding the game demo (in

This article has convinced me that my initial impress was wrong, it’s uglier and cheaper looking than I thought. Not that it truly matters, this thing will sell well regardless.
