Pffft. My brother was pissed he couldn’t buy one with vinyl bench seats and steel rims you want sophisticated interior panels?

Exactly. Or you can just run over people with a car...
God I am so tired of these arguments. Enthusiasts absolutely do buy new manual cars. There’s a 20+ page thread on VW vortex of people who bought the SS new with a stick. Problem is there just aren’t enough enthusiasts in the world.
Lawn Darts?
Exactly. Wasn’t there a story in the 90s where some drug cartel used a kayak filled with TNT against a rivals boat or was that in a movie somewhere?
Seriously though. I’m more afraid of idiots with a drone flying one of those things into my eye than a terrorist with a drone blowing up my car.
Came here to say this. I bet more people have been injured from Samsung Galaxy explosions than have been by ISIS designed drones.
Street legal dragsters have been done:
I’ve said this for years. You can daily drive a lawnmower if you really want to. It’s all about what you are willing to put up with. I have daily driver a 67 Dart with no A/C and an 04 Viper currently. I can barely fit the contents of a shopping cart in most of my transportation means, even less with a passenger,…

Fun little detail: These Superformance cars aren’t exactly replicas. The GT40's lineage from Ford to this is traceable; this is a continuation of the original design with proper rights and continuity along the way.
Fusion sport is pretty damn nice. AWD twin turbo v6 and only 3500 lbs. Its like what the Tarus SHO should have been.
For only 10k more you can beat a v6 mustang and a 4 cylinder camaro
“Sporty” and “powerful” are not 100% synonyms.
It’s not thermistor vs thermometer. Thermistors can be more than accurate enough to get a good temp. Or should we all toss out our fancy ThermaPens that LifeHacker swears we need in the kitchen?
I remember back when I had my Subaru Justy and knew someone with a Legacy Spec B it looked like their brakes were bigger than my 13" wheels.
Which is a very dumb way to drive. if you always brake late and hard you are trusting you will not have a failure that will become a massive problem if you drive that way instead of a controlled slower deceleration that gives you options if you have a brake failure. But the general public is barely able to drive a…
I agree about bigger, modern brakes requiring larger wheels. Even my ‘17 Versa, albeit an economy car has 15" wheels but the brakes absolutely fill the inside of the wheel, very much unlike our ‘07 Focus, also with 15" wheels.
