“Design Engineer” isn’t what you think. It has nothing to do with aesthetics.

That would be why I like Dodge so much. The Hellcat and Demon? Pretty sure that’s about as close as you get to the engineers saying “screw this, we’re going to build what we want”.
I have worked in the auto industry for almost 20 years now, and this is all pretty true. I work in governmental affairs now, ensuring that the cars we make meet environmental standards. I love reading the articles and comments on here about what enthusiats think should be done and why X or Y company is stupid for…
At least hers got great mileage. Our 2012 S averaged about 26mpg, on top of everything you stated, and being in the shop more than it was on the road.
I think Subaru has a decent CVT.
Driving a CVT equipped Nissan. Some CVTs aren’t too bad. Nissan just got theirs really, really wrong.
I’d take a CVT over a DSG any day of the week during rush hour commuting.
The warning is for when you’re on snow tires that don’t have the same speed rating as your summers. It’s programmable by the driver.

I feel like every non-car person asks a person who enjoys cars what their favorite car is. As if any of us could really pick just one. Even if you boiled it down to a specific brand chances are with me I’d come up with more than one still.
read it as ecosnot.....think im keeping it
1401 now.
Mulally is an engineer, Fields is a business dude, companies that actually make things cannot be run by business people, they always destroy them.
The woofer box just popping out the back is the best part of this.
The project ends when you realize what you really wanted to improve was yourself. Or there is a baby on they way and you have a shitty job.
Of course it’s an RX-7. Why wouldn’t it be? Full disclosure, I have a never ending RX-7 project that has been ongoing for seven years now.
Even at $1500 it’s not CP, more like OKP.
