Why would Google Voice be combined with searching and voice commands? The Google Voice application lets your see your voicemails, send text messages. How would that fit in with internet searching?

Are you saying the Gizmodo iPhone 4S review was biased? I mean the Giz review didn't use the word "magic" until the 3rd sentence! A biased review would have used it in the first sentence.

In the real world everyone prefers the larger screens.

Yes, the first iPhone was on edge. Is that in reply to something or just a random statement.

That article you linked to didn't say anything about other manufactures lying to the public by saying that features will not work on older devices. So it looks like Apple is the only company that does this.

Ummm.....what is a "Google Nexus"? Do you actually mean the "HTC Nexus One"? Or maybe the "Samsung Galaxy Nexus"?

You are correct, they don't have to give the new software to anyone. The problem is that Apple has a history of lying to the public by saying that new features will not work on the older devices. The truth would be that the features would work but for whatever reason Apple does not want to give them to the older

Tekwiz already told you about how Apple doesn't include features in an attempt to force their devices to become obsolete prematurely. It's a known fact; they leave features off older devices so people will have to buy new ones to use the features.

Of course you don't need it but for some stupid reason the iPhone has become some type of status symbol.

You obviously don't know what Google Voice is. Google Voice gives you a phone number which you can use send/receive calls and text messages. It has nothing to to with talking to an Android phone.

Wow! $30 is the standard price for 2GB?

"Your phone should automatically reset your important alarms"

You're complaining about standard time. Daylight saving time is during the Summer.

There is no S on the end; it is called daylight saving time.

Most people just buy an iPhone because it's an iPhone and they don't think about trying to compare how good phones work in practice. If people actually did the comparison then those who want a cutting edge phone wouldn't buy an iPhone.

Haha...it seems pretty often that Apple obviously has something wrong with a product people try to say that is a feature not a failure.

"you implied that Apple products are not actually good, but people are brainwashed or otherwise misled into believing they are"

It should be pointed out that going by the way Google designates version numbers that basically this entire article is wrong. The first number is a major release, and the second number is a minor release. So you start with 1.0....then update to 2.0. The first number was changed therefore it is a major release.

It doesn't matter if it is last-gen or from 2 years ago. The point is Apple has a history of attempting to make their devices prematurely obsolete. Apple could add the features to the old devices but that would not motivate people to spend hundreds of dollars on a new device.

He's getting an iPhone. Shortly after Giz will have an article stating that the iPhone is 3.5" because it fits perfectly in prosthetic arms. There will be a green semi-circle of a randomly chosen size to clearly illustrate that 3.5" is best.
