I remember a while back Philip said something about his brother that indicated he didn't like him or that there was some conflict. Does anyone with a better memory remember what Philip said?

Don't think so.. that was the era of space exploration and maybe just another way of showing how US and Russian kids are alike. They also do it with family scenes with all the kitchen scenes and family dinners. Reinforcing we are all so similar.
One thing that is puzzling is why does the KGB suddenly have it in for Oleg?? That was a great tense scene with him being questioned. But it appears they know something, so what happened? The only thing I can think is when Stan cryptic ally told Renee about the fbi pressuring him to do something he didn't want to do……
When/where were they identified? What are their names then? Don't remember that . Thx.
I believe there are two more seasons if I'm not mistaken.
Well, for one thing, his dad hates him… as he tells the guy in the jail cell later. The theory of the nytimes reviewer is that Philip' father and Oleg's mother were in the same camp and are Oleg's real parents… which is starting to make more sense now since Oleg said his father liked his brother best.
This, to me, was the best episode in a long while!! I am so sick of the Paige storyline and the Paige angst… her perpetually furrowed forehead and knitted brow are REALLY getting tiresome. They've devoted way to much time to her, and the series had suffered. How refreshing to have a Paige-free episode… more please!!!
I have an idea for next season. Since it seems to be getting harder and harder to find believable clone conspiracies to drive the plot in OB, maybe all the clones can go on a clone cruise (with family of course) for one season and just sort of relax and laugh it up and solve some non-clone cruise mystery!!! Wouldn't…
You know, I felt the same way last week, and even the week before. It seemed as if they had run out of plot and were just throwing things on the wall to see if they would stick and I really felt the show had kind of run its course. But tonight, I think was a really good show… more fast-paced and not such weired off…
Truly! It's like hair & wardrobe said "what is the worst hair 'style' we can give her"! People are calling it a "curly bob"??? No way in hell it's any kind of bob…. I have never seen anyone do that to their hair, eg have the ends stick straight out in so many directions. I find it very distracting and just plain…
Okay, nobody's said it but it must be said: WTF with Ani's hair? I get so distracted seeing which way it's sticking out and if it sticks out the same amount and if it goes in the same direction within the same scene (often not)…. what the hell??? How could her hair be so horrifically bad? God. It is terribly…
I thought S01 was spectacular… but I look at S02 on its own merits, knowing that Pizolatto et al. would never be able to repeat exactly S01 because it was so new and different. Sadly, many people can not see beyond S01 and continually have to compare, which is both unfortunate and completely uncalled for. S02 is its…
Agree completely…. It occurred to me a couple of days ago that the problem is they kept the same name. They should have changed the name completely and people would not be so fixated on comparisons. s01 was such a different show all the way around. No way to compare the two, and really they should NOT be compared.
Intelligent criticism I like and can appreciate… the not so intelligent, non-stop schadenfruede bashing is what gets me. If those posters think they can make a better TV show… go for it. I like to read these forum specifically for the "literary criticism", eg what did this mean? why did that happen? I don't think…
This makes a lot of sense too… agree he is unraveling. We shall see… I have fun playing with the various scenarios in mind, just as with s01.
I Just want to go on the record as saying I am really liking Vince Vaughn as Frank. I don't think I've seen him in anything before, but I think he's doing a great job and frankly, reminds me a bit of McConaghey.
So effing turn off the TV dude. No one is forcing you to watch it for god's sake. Grow up and stop being such a WHINER!! Maybe CSI is more to your liking.
Thanks for connecting some of those dots in bullets 1 -3. I was wondering about some of those connections. But I missed that Semyon thinks Velcoro raped a girl? Are you sure about that? Also, I thought it was Semyon who knocked of Velcoro's wife's rapist… kind of as a favor to him? Did I get that wrong?
Someone on another group mentioned that Ray's wife might be a snitch or traitor of some sort and might be setting him up. I'm not sure what her motivation would be, BUT I will say that I thought the ending of Ep 3 was very intriguing. She kept repeating how she had stayed up for him, did he want to talk?? Her…
I don't know why there is so much wailing and gnashing of teeth regarding TDS02…. come on people! Yes, TDS01 was special and very different… but stop for a moment and reflect why? It was chiefly 1) Rust's philosophical rhapsodizing and McConaghey's delivery… which was excellent and 2) the hypnotic and troubling…
