lol! If it makes you feel better, I thought the same thing.

Thanks for sharing that story. I wish that more people could understand just how important these events are. I wish that more people could be patient and kind to those they serve. Most importantly, I wish that people could treat DD/ID/mentally ill individuals with even an iota of this respect.
Seriously! Starting in 1988, I used to walk home from school alone, in a busy urban environment. As long as I called my mom to check in and tell her I was home, I was free to hang out in the apartment after school. I didn't burn the house down, didn't let any strangers in, and did just fine. I didn't have a babysitter…
But that’s saying that every serial/mass murderer is doing this to be famous. Not everyone has that reason for committing the offense, so that reasoning is too generalized. And, yes, I do have a good idea of what I’m talking about. But it’s a common belief, that’s for sure.
Or clothes pins. I swear by cheap clothes pins.
My thought is this. If you’re that far into a marriage and you found out that your husband is gay/bi/a penguin, maybe she just doesn’t care, as long as he doesn’t flaunt it in her fce. And, ultimately, that’s her business. Then again, I said the same thing when the Clintons/Lewinsky/Starr Report stuff came out. So,…
It’s okay, it took me a couple of moments, too. lol I just never saw him that way!
Not to mention that the best liars (again, psychopaths) sprinkle truth into it, so that it’s more believable.
It's basically cooked shrimp that have been chilled (no batter or seasoning) and then draped over a dish with cocktail sauce. Here's a recipe for your own cocktail sauce (it's so easy to make, apparently, dammit!). :)
I read this and can’t help but wonder what country she is from. Is she “forgiving” him to save face? And if she’s from a country where women are supposed to be meek and gentle, it’s no surprise that she’s not showing rage or anything. She’s likely turned it inside (or will, when the shock settles). My heart aches for…
No, we're TRYING to have a society!
I just cracked up laughing. I can't stop imagining this guy with his Oatmeal middle finger up, shouting "NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOO. NOPE!" as he walks off with his sandwich.
No, I’m saying that we should forgive people for the impulsive, dark thoughts they have during stressful events. She didn’t tell the personthat she hoped she would be fat. She only talked about it and then told us. Everyone has dark and not so nice thoughts. It’s what you do with them that counts.
I'll have to write this down in my copy.
As a fat person (or whatever), lighten up. Geez. Emotions aren't logical and, if she could be charitable, she would. Just let her be petty. It's no big deal, we've all been there. We might not have wished for someone to get fat, but we may have secretly wished something negative on someone.
I thought it was a gorgeous dress, but I think it's just a little overwhelming and the beaded belt may need some adjustment. I would happily wear a gown like that one, and I'm not religious by any means.
I feel like one of the only people who isn't into that dress. My first thought was "ick."
Clearly, THESE are the things that the EPPP should cover when we're getting licensed.
Sandra Lee's food may be horrific (can anyone forget the horror of the Kwanzaa cake?), how scary for her. Best wishes for a speedy, thorough recovery, and celebrate with one of your cocktails when it's over.
Look at those lovely eyes!
