When I saw the one in it's nest(?), I instantly thought of Dogfort.

Have you seen the chrome/ rainbow colored ones?

Anything made by Lund.

Bonus points for the rainbow color variety.

I was just wondering this morning where all the spinners went. They have (thankfully) vanished from the roads around here. I guess the owners upgraded to 30"s and left the spinners in the garage. Trading one evil for another.

Fake hood scoops. Actually, anything affixed with double-sided tape.

I thought third gear was the ugliest SUV I'd ever seen (like something West Coast Customs would make) but then I saw the Porsche. Good god.

Thanks! I'm currently looking for a new DD (Trailblazer SS or Saab 9-7x Aero) but I will never get rid of that truck.

Not all of them are. Pallets are supposed to have an "ISPM 15" code stamped on them. If it says "HT" it was heat-treated and is safe to use for most applications. If it says "MB" that indicates it was chemically treated.

That looks like fun, but the cost of the parts exceeds the cost of a commercial unit:

That was amazing.

Grizzly Peak, Berkeley.

'96 GMC Sierra regular cab, 2 wheel drive, 5.7L V8, lowered 4/2, totaled twice (not my fault either time). Been my daily driver for about eight years now, still going strong and fast as hell.

Wow. I watched the whole thing too, and will probably watch again. We could use those here in California for sure. Might help cut down on all the brush fires that start on the side of the highway. These were obviously in Europe, what with the road signs, and the fact that I've never seen a tunnel more than a year old

That is, of course, your right. But by that logic, isn't every story you read on Jalopnik/ the internet heresy unless accompanied by irrefutable proof of it's veracity? I just don't see the point of fabricating a story like this, but that's just my idiot opinion. It's not like they're claiming they landed on Mars or

True, but the rider's heirs will probably sue the other driver. Similar situation happened to my Wife's grandfather. Extremely excessive speed by the biker, perfect model driving behavior from the grandpa, biker sued anyway. The case was eventually dismissed, but not before the grandpa racked up huge legal bills and

"There comes a certain age where your wits have started to leave you, but your money hasn't. And that's the perfect time for ripoff artists to strike."

In these situations, I always apply the "what is there to be gained?" model. Why would MKIIGTI be lying? What does he/she have to gain? In this instance, the potential gain is a "cool story, bro" or, at best, a star (which will probably be going away soon anyway). While I'm sure people would make up a story to get a

No, it was easy. I just spelled every word out loud.

Agreed. It probably focuses the mind on the task being talked about or at least keeps it in the forefront (I have no knowledge to back that up, just pulled it out of my ass).
