Exactly. I would love to sit and pick his brain about cars. It seems that he knows more about the cars than some of the reps that he has on his show, and it's their car...sometimes the new model!
I know how well the 12C's suspension works outside the racetrack, and this is basically the same system with some tweaks.
We've driven a few of the 12Cs and, despite what they're pushing, this is largely a 12C.
What's funny, is that I remember on a Jay Leno Garage segment that Jay said that Porsche was the first to use a prancing horse on it's badge (the horse on the coat of arms). I was thinking he may have meant actual production cars, but this little test provided some good info.
Yeah, there were only two fires caused by the part in question and over 100 failures total. That's not even accounting for fires after accidents or impacts.

Search any car you can think the Tesla compares to and you'll find that there have been even more fires than the Tesla.
Why? They happen to use a very flammable liquid to propel them.
