Not sure if it matters, but they weren't paintings—they were carvings. All the symbols & designs were very cool, & even that first panel with the Children & the First Men was fine, but the White Walker panel was pretty weak. The blue in the eyes, while it did make it clear what we were looking at, was particularly

I mentioned this in another comment here, but it bears repeating: Maisie Williams is right-handed, but she committed to training to fight left-handed for the show, because in the books Arya is a lefty. Can you imagine getting that good with your WEAK hand?

Not a bad accent, just an inconsistent one, especially in the early seasons. He sometimes lets his natural Irish accent come through. Anyways, that's the criticism I've heard—it never really bothered me.

It makes sense for her first show of force to be limited to one dragon. For practical reasons, she's only risking one rather than all three (though it does seem that if Drogon got killed, Dany would die with him). But more to the point, it would be very intimidating to see the damage one dragon can do, while knowing

The tone & content of the review don't match the A- grade, at all. If I hadn't seen the A- before I read the piece, I would have guessed a B, at best.

Yeah, seems likely that Tyrion will convince Dany not to kill Jaime, but it won't help his case, what with her questioning his loyalty to her vs. his family.

I think he's been set up as the one who will Cersei, like he killed the Mad King, only, you know, more tragically. I'm guessing he'll die in the process.

SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

That, & his part to play in the big-picture story is obviously not
done. The only questions now are (1) how many episodes to we have to
wait till they confirm Jaime is still alive, & (2) what's next for
him.

Less vs. fewer is a direct callback to something Stannis said a while back. IIRC, it was funnier because someone said "less" & Stannis said "fewer" just to himself.

He betrayed Sansa's father, which led to him being executed. Oh, & by orchestrating John Arryn's death, he set literally the whole plot of the series into motion, because Arryn's death led to Robert asking Ned to be hand of the king.

I didn't notice that, but it seems to me that if we were meant to see Randyll Tarly die, they would have made it clear. I have a feeling Sam will meet his father again before the series ends.

I don't think he has to do that to see, at least not anymore. I think he can tap into the weirwood tree network, & see anything the trees see (or even have seen). Maybe now that he's the Three-Eyed Raven, he can just see everything anywhere?

I noticed that, too, & I think we were meant to. Not sure where it would lead, though—I mean, who does he send the raven to? Cersei? I don't think LF is really on Cersei's side anymore, if he ever really was. Who else could/would he contact? (Not trying to poke holes in your theory—just wondering where it's

Sure—in fact, it's super easy because it's basically falling off already!

It's even more impressive that Williams, though naturally right-handed, trained to fight left-handed for the show because Arya in the books is a lefty.

If she's smart, she's looking at Arya & thinking how handy her little sister will be in addressing her Littlefinger problem.

I dunno. Seems to me she could kind of decommission the dragons* after she wins the war. We've seen her be fair & benevolent, so I don't think it's a stretch that she could be a good & peaceful ruler even with dragons* still around.

Quibble: They weren't paintings, they were carvings (petroglyphs). It surprised me to hear D&D in the "inside the episode" featurette call them paintings, seeing as how they run the show & presumably had a say in how that set looked.

It would be a travesty for Littlefinger to die in any other way besides a Stark's hand. Sansa has earned the right more than anyone, but possibly lacks the stomach for it, & definitely lacks the skills. Maybe her watching Arya will give her some ideas: Sansa will be responsible for Baelish's death, but Arya will
