I may be wrong, but I think it went on the market back in 2012 but then either sold or came off the market. I don't think it's been continuously up for sale since 2012. When I saw this post, my first thought was, "Huh? I thought hat place sold years ago." Anyways, the housing market here is actually pretty brisk,

I rarely intentionally try to live up to my user name, & I was not doing so this time—just took your post at face value & obviously didn't pay very careful attention. I'd like to claim I was just playing dumb, but nope.

Billy West is a pretty famous voice actor. He did Stimpy, & a bunch of voices on Futurama: Fry, Prof. Farnsworth, Zapp Brannigan, & Zoidberg. He's also was the Honey Nut Cheerios bee for a while.

I just listened to that interview this morning—Lewis was very forthcoming. Maron set it up to indicate that if he had gotten Lewis when he was fresh, it would have been longer, but Lewis' handlers had already booked interviews, etc., before Maron got there (against Maron's stated request, that apparently Lewis'

We* got through the first three books, & the repetitiveness killed it for us. They're clever, & cleverly written, but even though I guess the point is bad things happening, I found it distracting that all the adults were SO clueless, & so completely unhelpful, when they weren't actively making the orphans' situation

Cruz is definitely a contender, as is Pharma Bro, but the punchable-face gold standard remains Quentin Tarantino.

That's just how they say it here in Minnesota—karOHkee. I've lived here long enough that it doesn't sound jarring anymore, but I doubt it'll ever stop sounding weird.

I can't pretend that I breathe the same rarefied air as the ElDans of this realm, but I started posting in 2008 & was very regular for years. It's just gotten harder to find the time, what with work & kids & whatnot. Hell, I don't even GET here daily anymore, let alone do much reading or posting. It's a bummer, but

You're exactly as big as I let you be, and no bigger, and don't forget it, ever.

Glad to see you spelled "Saito" correctly, unlike the article. Disgraceful!

The Romans stopped using triremes as warships long before the action of this movie takes place. Hell, they were already using quinqueremes by the Second Punic War. It would have made more sense to make the ships Augustan era Liburnian galleys.

As was JGL's response to it.

It's not hard if you play yourself*, or know a bit about it. He's not terrible, but you can tell by how he holds the sticks, & how he moves his arms, that he's not a drummer. And if he played for more than 30 seconds, it'd be even more obvious.

OOH OOH—I know!
Um, really, really stupid?

Of course he's not, silly! How could he be BOTH a Cuban crime boss AND a Sicilian-American mafia don?

Reality-based critical thinking is, shall we say, not their strong suit.

If it's all the same to you, I'd like to be appalled at both.

Can you imagine going through life believing that everything you see is a documentary?

I'd feel sorry for them, living in constant fear of, well, everything, if their shitty worldview weren't so dangerous. I have no problem with them living in their crazy fantasy world themselves, if they'd only keep it TO themselves & leave the rest of us be.

And he's magnificent with a bow & arrows.
