That's what I was expecting, her to collapse right there on the docks. I'm good with her taking the antidote, though.

Of course, technically Robert Baratheon was himself a usurper, so one could argue that neither he nor his brothers (or bastards) have as legit a claim as Dany or Aegon (who's not on the show at all), or Jon (whose provenance is not yet established, officially).
No, watch it again—the digital face is pretty obvious if you look for it. Plus Headey is on record saying that she didn't do a nude scene this season. I wondered if they'd just make the Walk o' Shame merely scantily clad rather than totally naked, so I wasn't sure how they'd handle it.
If you mean when they disrobed her at the start of the walk, look again—her face is pretty obviously digitally superimposed on a body double, every time you see her full frontal. You'll notice that Lena Headey doesn't do much acting when we see Cersei's whole body, but she's crushing it in the close-ups.
I'm not even gonna bother. I kept scrolling to get down to the comments—couldn't believe how long the article was. In general, I'm down with the premise of the "Expert Witness" feature, but they can get a little too inside baseball, IMO.
Nonsense—it was super easy to cancel. I got the initial bunch, then bought two more at "regular" prices—something like $10-$12, I can't remember. Anyway, that was it. So I got maybe 10 CDs for a total of about $25. Of course, 20+ years later I don't even remember what all I got in the deal. The only one I…
I'm thinking Melisandre let it happen, if she wasn't actually complicit (she knows a thing or two about fire, after all). Her reaction to noticing something was going on in the camp suggested she was OK with it. Ramsay's attack also conveniently put Stannis in a position just desperate enough to finally do what the…
But God pulled his punch & let Abraham off the hook, allowing Isaac to live. Jesus, even the Old Testament isn't as bloody & cruel as this damn show.
But Iphigeneia is saved at the last minute, spirited away by Artemis & replaced by a stag for the sacrifice. This is much, much worse.
I didn't like the choice to let Hizdahr (sp.?) off the hook. No Strong Belwas = no poisoned locust treats, but still, I would have preferred portraying him as complicit in the uprising of the Sons of the Harpy.
OK, so why couldn't they just use some of Shireen's blood? In the books AND in the show, leeching king's blood & burning leeches was enough to do away with all the usurpers. If the show has explained why Shireen had to burn instead of just using her blood, I must have missed it. Damn, that was hard to watch.
That little indie about the Titanic did OK.
Marvel?
So, a super obvious title! I see it's on YouTube—gonna have to check it out, after I get all my stupid final grading done.
That's always been Mrs. Neophyte's favorite MST3K episode. I came by MST3K early because of her—she grew up in the Twin Cities, & saw it for the first time via VHS tapes recorded from the original Minneapolis UHF station. But I think by the time she showed me one, while it was till taped from TV, by then it was on…
Wow—O'Neal is in rare, expansive form. It's almost as if Entourage is his muse, raising him to new artistic heights.
Goddamn there are lot of idiots around buffalo on youtube.
Agreed. I don't mean to suggest that she deserved to die for being careless in a wildlife preserve, but I do wish reports would avoid words like "tragic". It sucks, & she was way too young, & she's no doubt leaving lots of people broken-hearted, but my sympathy is somewhat limited because of the circumstances.
I was expecting him to whip up a big storm, but yeah, something like that—something to do with the cold. Instead, it was the White Walker version of dropping the mic/how ya like me now. I've already seen "Come at me, Snow" as a suggested caption, & even a "Come at me, crow" meme.
Someone on the experts thread suggested that the Night's King is letting them get away. I have to say I find this a satisfying theory—basically he's saying, "Run back & tell everybody just how fucked you all are."
