Fun Fact: My mother-in-law grew up in Yutan, Nebraska, just down the road from the home office in Wahoo, Nebraska. (Yes, it's a real place.)

Well, Sansa's not at Winterfell at all in the books, so there was at least the possibility that the show would handle the original (Jeyne Poole) plot line differently, especially after taking such pains to establish Sansa as stronger & craftier. Likewise, having Theon kill Ramsay in this scene, for example, could

God damn I loves me some Bronn. I wasn't crazy about such a big departure from the Dorne story line, but once Jaime brought Bronn on board, I forgot my objections. Carry on!

Looked at another way, he's telling the truth, but he's not telling the WHOLE truth, & he's not telling NOTHING BUT the truth.

That was the line of the night, IMO.

Like others here, I had read/heard that Sopie Turner had filmed a "very difficult" scene, but I kept hoping it wouldn't be this. I kept waiting for Stannis & his army to show up, ideally before the wedding even happened (or even during, breaking up the ritual at the white tree). Then I kept waiting for Theon to find

I thought the same thing. They mentioned right at the beginning that he was still working on it, so it's possible it was edited differently in the final film, or even re-shot.

The Thing is unfuckwithably great, top of the list of all three of these guys' flicks, IMO.

They're certainly not portraying the HS as a "conniving radical" so far. Maybe he's more pure, like Lancel? Or maybe he's just a really good conniver & hasn't tipped his hand yet.

MAYBE Jorah? Or Tyrion & Jorah both?

I dunno—it might be nice to get back to her with the implication that quite a bit of time has passed, & get to see her much farther along in her Faceless Man training, without having to see as much of the walking-up-and-down-steps-blind stuff.

I'd say that whoever made that suggestion has obviously not read the books, but hell, they've obviously not been paying attention to the show, either.

I assumed, from the books & the show both, that bringing Shireen along to the North was for exactly for that purpose. I hope you're right, but if this series has taught us nothing, it's that nobody is safe.

LIAR!

My problem with the attack by the Sons of the Harpy is that they killed Unsullied WAY too easily. I mean, we've been told for ages now how awesome they are as a fighting force, but apart from Grey Worm, they've been frankly disappointing. I get that there have to be losses for the attack to have some weight, but at

There are several Cosby bits I have been regularly quoting for years. Now, when one comes to mind, I tend to leave it unsaid (or untyped). And when I do use one now, I preface it with something like, "Reminds me of this Cosby bit—ugh,…[comment varies with situation]."

Give it time.

Exactly. He was a solid working actor, a pro stuck on a crap project. It's commendable that he worked as hard as he did to polish that turd. And I say this as a child of the 70s who, like everybody else I knew, LOVED that fucking show.

In Cosby's case, as the pattern shows, he got off on a specific method. Maybe he ALSO did this on willing women, but it sure looks like he preferred "the game". And yeah, rape is a crime of violence, power, domination, etc., much more than it's just sexual. Of course, for the victims, it gets to be both!

The publicly documented cases could easily break the record. Of course, we'll never know the real numbers because there will still be some that don't come forward.
