Also: How is he an actor in this scenario? Even if he was just a gubmint plant, people were actually killed. It wasn't a movie, it happened in real life. If he were shooting blanks, & only pretending to kill people that would be acting, but using real guns with real bullets & causing real carnage isn't acting.

It makes less sense to say you don't know who the person in question is, when the article itself tells you who the person is. Most of it's right there in the headline. So, no additional research would seem to be necessary.

Because of the nature of his character McCann does so much of his acting physically that one can forget how good he is in these smaller, more nuanced moments. That scene was really beautiful, & heartbreaking. He's another character, & certainly another actor, I'm really gonna miss.
