Yes. My first outing with the commentariat was here at the good ol' AV Club, which led me to believe that this was a typical comment board. Wow, was I in for the proverbial rude awakening!

Yeah, & I'm OK with gettingn used to it, but I do have to wonder what the point is. As @Carlton_Hungus:disqus notes, they've done this a bunch of times before, & we've all survived, but I can't really say that the site seems BETTER for all these "improvements".

I'm not surprised. We saw The Dark World yesterday & there was definitely a higher concentration of African-American moviegoers than you'd usually see. This is the Twin Cities—AMC Southdale, to be specific, which is in Edina—so when there are more black folks about, it's pretty hard not to notice.
