Or maybe, you know, just its own movie.

I had a similar thought process, but mine went more like, "If you think I'm clicking through a link called 'possessed clowns', you're fucking crazy."
Oh, man, yeah—that was terrible to behold.
His kids went to the school where I teach, so once in a while you'd hear "Kirby Puckett" over the PA, which was always kind of odd (& awesome). They were both students there when Kirby died. I never met him, but I did meet their mom/his ex-wife. I signed Kirby jr. in for his freshman registration.
My wife was actually at the Dome for Game 6 in '91.
One time I remember Twins fans getting miffed at a division rival was back when the White Sox picked up A.J. Pierzynski, but that was more about how obnoxious
Pierzynski was, rather than the whole team.
Having grown up in Reading PA, I went to the Vet a bunch of times, sometimes for Phils games, sometimes for concerts. As bad as the Vet was as a baseball venue, it was even worse as a concert venue. That that was monstrosity stood for more than 30 years is astonishing.
The exterior shots of the kid's house were filmed in Edina*, walking distance from my in-laws' house.
@@avclub-62812d8eb06386505986efff8b5e43ac:disqus : I was in grad school at UGA in '92, & they were showing that game on the big screen at the Georgia Theater in Athens. I'm not more than a casual baseball fan—I don't even have a strong team affiliation, though upbringing & memories of my mom & mom-mom point me…
Funny that Finn mentions liking the Pirates this year, & later says, "I don’t think Justin Morneau is going to stick around, but that’s just part of the game." Guess they did this interview before Morneau was traded—to the Pirates.
OK, gotcha. For sure Nerdist has branched out from its beginnings, probably partially for the reason you cite (popularity = guests and/or their publicists come callin'), partially because Hardwick wants to talk to more people, too (& popularity - that's easier to accomplish). Of course, you could say the same for…
No, definitely Bears.
Damn, I love that song, & the video is fantastic.
She was actually a pretty entertaining guest, which i did not expect. I tend to listen to most of their podcasts, unless it's a guest I know and/or care nothing about. Of course, I'm in the AV Club minority, as one who likes the Nerdist crew, so what do I know?
You won't be sorry, @avclub-23c97e9cb93576e45d2feaf00d0e8502:disqus.
I wondered/hoped. Do you happen to know about availability? I mean, sure, I could look it myself & all, but….
Honestly, @avclub-4f18f486a356810b3ef8008243bcba7a:disqus, I would admit it if I had. I'm on my work computer, though, so, um, maybe later.
It's one of the best English translations of ANY epic, & captures the tone & flavor of the actual era in which the story is set, as well as the ancient fantastical elements, extraordinarily well. It is a thing of beauty & power. I can only imagine what it would have sounded like to hear him read it aloud in person.
Bednado?
Without doing any research, I feel reasonably sure that they have indeed already made a gay porn called Goldi-cocks and the Three Bears.
