I bought a big battery that was featured as a Kinja deal a while back specifically because it said it could power a full sized refrigerator for up to 6 hours. We have had 3 power outages in the last few weeks so I was excited to start recouping my investment. Did it power our full-sized kitchen fridge? Fuck and no.

I struggle to even be mad or conjure up hate for this thing. The best I can muster is “meh”.

I like how the screenshot of the difference four wheel steering makes still makes it look like the truck needs about 1/8th mile to turn around.

Nah, I am going to say it. I have been reading Jalopnik from before the Gawker media days, before Kinja was a thing. Longer than the writers have been here. Back when the listed editors emeriti were here. You do seem to care so much by taking time out of your day to comment. I appreciate that.

Not only that, but any blog that touts how cool Honda Fits are but calls a 68 GTO boring and bland... well, let’s just say there are a lot of questions here.

Then why not spare the rhetorical question in the first place?

So is this story on Jalopnik because he likes cars you don’t so that’s the justification? This sure is a stretch and not a welcome one. Yes he is a scumbag but this is not car news or car related.

You want to insure a teenager on a new car? And have to deal with incidental damage and misuse by said teenager?

Which is why theseAOTD slideshows are such a joke. What possible relevance does a car that cost $5k 17 fucking years ago have to the question of what the best $5k cars are today?

You know what was an awesome car for less than $5k 50 years ago? A Hemi Superbird. Why don’t we put that on the list, too?

Agree 100%. I owned a 4th gen Prelude VTEC and there is NO WAY that car should be on the list of one of the most reliable cars for 5K. If you have the H22, you are looking at rear main seals going to crap quickly, and it will not see anything above 24 MPG on you BEST day. Plus like you said, there is no way you’ll

Hyundai’s promo material shows a bike in the back, over the tailgate (as one does even in full size trucks, using a pad) but it’s tweaked at a 45-degree angle, so you can fit ONE bike in the back.

Yup. Along with having to avoid Brownell’s trolling, it’s becoming slim pickings around here.

You drove around with your high beams on because you were too lazy to change your bulbs. There’s negative undertones to almost everything you write. Do I really need to say anything more?

And still much worse than far easier ways, like just making them accessible from the engine bay or making the headlight cover removable without removing a painted body panel. Also, it’s sounds like the implementation on your Golf wasn’t too bad. I’m sure you’d be shocked to know GM’s implementation on the Malibu was a

I’m not normally one to knock the writers of this site, I have stupid opinions too, but Eric consistently writes questionable content. It’s getting to the point where I’m going to stop clicking on his articles.

But come on, man, Branson’s stunt only barely cleared that.

I drove a lot of miles on two different 3800s and never changed any of the stuff you mentioned, but enjoy your Honda I guess.

I will not stand for this slander of the 3800.

I always thought they looked great, and I heard they drove great too.
