So many cars can be driven at low speeds with clutch only. So rarely needed gas when moving my turbo Cobalt around parking lots.

Application of brake lights help light up behind the car. Car has enough torque that I can pull out of parking spots using clutch only.

I’ve always thought the reverse lights coming on were to illuminate the area around the car. Let others in the the parking lot or street know someone’s about be around it. Be prepared to stop for pedestrians.
