Sorry — I wasn’t implying that there is gender equality in the US. I’m a woman living in the US, so I know better. :-) I do think it’s even worse in certain other places — like much of South America — but that’s just an opinion, not backed up by hard facts.

I think there was a huge demonstration in Santiago Chile as well, also related to violence against women. It seems to be particularly acute in traditional patriarchal countries, doesn’t it? I wonder why.*

I agree -- Trump is a bully. & a coward. He only seems to lash out when he feels he’s in control of the situation or when he feels he has the upper hand. What a nasty person he is. I am baffled and horrified that he has any followers at all, much less millions of them.
