That's quite a nice description of the sound effect. GOLD STAR FOR CHOMPS.

The inconsistent tone helps! That'sa pure Dante, all the way!

Rush! Great episode, and a neato representation of superspeed, which was more like teleportation/invisibility/telekinesis than just "running really fast".

I know a few people on these boards have mentioned Unknown Armies…this movie is very much like the schools of Magick in that game.

Good write-up, Mike.
For those that haven't seen it, Intacto is well worth it. It's an awesome movie, and the subculture it presents it utterly fascinating.
There are a couple of incredibly vivid scenes: The Race in the Forest, the man in the airplane seats bathed in light, and of course the glowing bug.

Taking Tiger Mountain is the best place to start.
