She was being interviewed on TV and said a lot more about how he was her true love and sent Justin to her to make up for him getting away. Or some such nonsense. I wondered at the time what the man's wife thought because it was a bit much.

Her privacy was already violated. She could have felt the need to tell her side of the story. I don't think she's trying to get a book deal or become famous, but probably just trying to get Aniston to shut up.

Mind you, forging the kid's signature and stealing from him - that's criminal, they knew what they were doing was illegal, and I hope the judge throws the book at them.

They doubtlessly believed in their own minds that they were entitled to it. They drove him to all his games, they paid for his equipment, he's just a kid. That's a pathetic excuse, granted, but I suspect Johnson isn't the only victim of parents who believed they were entitled to their golden goose.
