Things I care about more: her callously sampling mission audio from the Challenger disaster. Cause nothing says pop song like a national tragedy.

There was a conversation in GT earlier today about why we are so up in arms about the strip search (which is standard operating procedure), when we should be outraged about the fact that this lady lied on a visa, and willingly paid someone 3.31/hour - which is blatantly against the law. I'm just going to copy what I

India does seem to get very picky-choosy with which of their women they protect/give a shit about. I mean treatment of a slaver vs slave, as well as the very prevalent rape-culture that has prospered in their country, and of course there's the shockingly-more-common-than-human-beings-would-like-to-think practice of

"For an educated, middle-class woman" in other words she is Upper Caste. If a "slumdog woman" such as her maid received the same treatment, India wouldn't give a shit.

I don't think that supposed cavity search ever happened. I believe she was strip searched, like all arrestees who spend a night in jail, but I don't believe there was a cavity search. The police also deny this. She probably thinks being asked to spread her ass cheeks constitutes a cavity search. Maybe she needs one so

I had the same reaction, but FWIW, that wording is taken from the HuffPo/AP article link and is not a direct quote from anyone personally involved in this matter.

This woman is a literal human trafficker and slaver, her being strip searched (which is standard procedure for all inmates) is perhaps the least barbaric part of this entire affair.

"For an educated, middle-class woman to face public arrest and a strip search is almost unimaginable, except in the most brutal crimes."

Okay, so...the government of India will be up in arms about a consular employee going through a possible cavity search (most likely conducted by female officers) for incarceration due to effectively keeping a slave in a country where slavery is illegal, citing it as an affront to all women? And yet....how is that rape

Personally I think "Call your girlfriend" is her best song everrr but I also love "Who's that Girl?". Can't wait to see her again!

I like this! Too often it seems us ladies ca't take a brake. My sister who is a stay at home mom (well she is on maternity leave early, and wants to stay that way!) feel that everyone else has a right to decide what is best for her. I always say do what makes you feel good! Who cares what others think? You are damned

I always love to see a woman reclaim her mother fucking mo-jo. I hope she crushes that asshole in court. Good riddance!!

Winnie Mandela most definitely turned out to be all kinds of awful and that aspect of her life and times should not be glossed over or swept under the carpet.

Some of the things that she did were horrendous. She was involved in several murders, including those of children. I was really bothered to see absolutely no mention of that.

Winnie Mandela kind of turned out to be kind of awful. You may want to do some quick research before you proclaim her 'awesome'.

Daniel Dae Kim:

This has motivated me to start a "hot celebrity men of color" (and by men of color I mean any guy that is not white) thread in response to People Magazines lack of sexy men of color on their list. So ladies, post as many pictures as you want! I'll start:

I snapped a screenshot of every wardrobe change in episode one of the first series:

Cats don't generally care about going THROUGH doors. They're just incredibly offended whenever one is closed.
