Some people need to spend less time on the internet.

I live in UT, and we also do universal vote-by-mail, and yes, we also have ballot drop boxes. I believe ours are managed directly by our elections office/county clerk, not emptied by USPS. I’d guess that states that are allowing more mail-in voting this cycle (but don’t have widespread mail-in voting normally) may not…
Eh, I had more lingering pain for longer than expected based on what the doctor told me, and when I called to ask about it he basically called me a big baby.
But then there’s less egg.
Except I don’t see any President ever willing giving away any level of power/authority they’ve presumed the right to accumulate.
I’ve got an SE (the ooooold SE). You just have to go into settings to add the record button to control center.
As long as I don’t have to wear anything on my face, I believe the science on this one.
There is an entire Flickr account which shows many examples of catastrophic suspension failures on Teslas. This one is no surprise.
This kind of thing is absolutely real. I have a distant relative who is charming but pulled this nonsense on his wife. Even worse, he made her send this ridiculous apology letter she had to write to everyone else present at the original incident, despite said incident being minor / she was probably in the right anyway!…
Also. Also also. Wear the damn mask. This isn’t an accommodations issue, it’s a public health issue. If you can’t for some reason wear a mask, then stay out of the damn store. COVID doesn’t give a shit.
NextDoor is like HOAs in general. It’s a fine idea in theory, I guess, but all it takes is a couple uppity assholes to ruin it for everyone. And there are always a couple uppity assholes.
In the same vein: I’d still be on FB if my experience was limited to friends and family like it used to be. It’s a fine and reliable platform for what my family is up to based on what my family says they’re up to. That’s why I signed up in the first place. I wish it was still that.
Ahhhhh, Michael Moore circa 2004. I remember those days well.
Disappointed. Thought there’d be some cool life hack like, prick your finger and let the blood drop into a bowl of warm water and read the letter it forms or something like that.
Would have been nice to talk about why would I want to work remotely in Barbados. Pros and Cons etc...
And thus is born the Bene Gesserit.
Lol, this is exactly the experience I had transferring an old 401k from Voya to Fidelity.
I still microwave all my groceries for 5-10 mins when I get home, just to play it safe.
I like to exaggerate, too.
