Am I the only one who read the terms?
Am I the only one who read the terms?
I like reading stories and comments from these, but I do wish that the stories never happened in the first place so Kotaku didn’t have to report on them. But I think if it’s a subject (NFTs) that is so controversial it gets a lot of comments and readers, it makes sense that they’d run stories like that, as long as…
Yeah how terrible seeing all those swears, why didn’t Mr.DuckSauce just tell us to throw all our money away in a pump and dump scheme instead, that would have been so much better. What a prick
Yeah I remember that and miss those times. It sucks that all these companies decided to go into pump and dump schemes rather than focusing on making games better. I’d much prefer the news be about Konami’s new 2d Castlevania game but instead they decided to spend their funds on NFTs. If that’s what game companies are…
You just described the Diablo 3 real money auction house, or before that selling real estate on Second Life. Buying, creating, and selling things in-game with real money has always been up to the developer, but it’s rarely used because the cash incentive doesn’t make the game more fun. Quite the contrary, as not long…
NFTs are still just as useless now as they’ve always been. People aren’t just going to change their opinions when nothing about the situation has changed. If someone wants to revolutionize how we play video games expect some positive articles about that, this however is nothing but a scam that adds nothing for the…
It’s worth it for Super Mario Maker alone, all those millions of levels can only be played on a Wii U. And you can’t upload anymore or use the bookmark site, but it’s still easy to find levels in game and the 100 mario challenge provides infinite entertainment and tons of unlockables.
oh yeah, Sony is doomed and will go 3rd party. I’ll bet by this time next year I’ll be playing God of War on my Switch.
they’re pretty much the same, but playstation has VR
I was having trouble for a while trying to find good music, there’s some great stuff but I was a bit burned out thinking I had heard everything, then I was turned on to Tatsuro Yamashita, and ANRI thanks to Youtube and a few years later and I can’t listen to modern music anymore. That Japanese music from the 70s and…
or open up OBS to get a video for yourself or to share on Youtube, or stream to Twitch.
“understand why they are useful and not be an idiot cryptobro...”
Who exactly is going to make you delete your Steam games to transfer ownership?
or you’re young and dumb, and we’re old and know better because we’ve lived long enough to see our fair share of scams.
I’ve seen tons of arguments against NFTs, but what’s the point in gaming? Nobody has ever said what they accomplish, not even the game companies that are sending out press releases. That’s because they accomplish nothing, unless you’re the one selling them trying to make a buck off of rubes. NFT people act like account…
magnets can hold up paper or stick to the fridge for decoration, action figures can be fun for little kids to play with. An Art Print can be put on the wall (or a fridge) to look at, trading cards are collectible and tradeable, and even the cheapest cards are worth something, and they don’t disappear if you lost a…
Needs more Beetlejuice, and if we’re talking about shows that nobody saw,
AOTS isn’t really a video game show so that shouldn’t matter, they just did what most TV shows do and got attractive hosts. And knowing that video games are statistically more often played by males (moreso when it aired), they tried to capitalize on that, it’s the old adage, sex sells. As a TV producer you have to ask…
Why would anyone assume it was vaporware? Razer is a real company with loads of products, if they say their high-tech mask is as good as an N95, there wasn’t any reason to doubt it. Not like it’s a company known for lying to it’s customers (far as I know). The only ones that wouldn’t believe a claim by a trustworthy…
That digital used games idea, that’s not going to happen, and it wouldn’t require nfts to do it, account systems have been in place since the invention of e-mail if not earlier. The reason it doesn’t happen is there isn’t any money in it for the game publishers, who’s going to buy a new $60 game when they can buy a…
