Nier: Automata is one of those “must-play” games that sadly slipped by a lot of people in my gaming circles. I recommend it to people the same way I used to recommend Witcher 3 - go in blind. Completely blind. No guides, no internet, nothing. Don’t look up tips and tricks, just experience it.

Mm this is a deliciously perfect review. Just enough spoilers to whet my appetite without giving away the farm. So glad I picked up the Season Pass (??) when it was first offered...it’s been quite satisfying for the price.
As much as I’ve loved my 3ds (and all Nintendo handhelds since the Game Boy days) im ready for it to fade into the sunset. The latest crop of games are really starting to show the systems age - Pokémon Sun and Moon (and by extension their Ultra versions) for example had massive slowdown and frame dropping.
The key difference is people actually play Final Fantasy XIV. No shade tho.
This is the best MMO story ever.
