Why do we hate Stephen Merchant again? He's really funny, and he was great in Extras. Also, his stand-up show was pretty good. I get this is the AV Club, but do we have to hate everything all the time?

Movie theaters have now been given the opportunity to search bags for food and drinks. Stadiums and airports wanted to stop people, and they now can, for "security". Now movie theaters can too.

I agree, unfortunately.

There was one where there was a drawing for something, where a bunch of balls were in a bowl, and Encyclopedia realized that Bugs wasn't drinking out of a thermos he had because he was keeping a cold ball in there, so it could be felt when someone reached in to draw the balls out. Not really a fact, but the only

I just rewatched that episode, and I think it's pretty clear that it's NOT an extortion attempt on Ted's part. He really doesn't want to be involved, and Skyler cannot believe that he would not take the money from her. When Ted off-handedly mentions more money, she grabs on to that, and insists that he is blackmailing

Yes! Thanks, I kept wondering where I had seen that before. If I remember correctly, he buys a giant magnet, and then throws it through a window, so it's seized as evidence, and then it's put next to the video when it gets filed away. I thought that's what Walt was going to do to, but Walt's way was much cooler.

So, so far, Cranston>Odenkirk>Cross. Anyone else?

I think he knew an overall arc for Walter White ("Mr. Chips to Scarface"), but I don't think he's made any secret of writing the series as he goes, which I think he's talked about in some of the discussions on the DVDs.

I was kind of hoping that it was actually Marsden reading to her at the end, that even though she ended up with Noah, that Marsden loved her so much that he was the one in the end that came to spend time with her. I think my brain just wanted out so badly that it was
