Where is it accepted to say “Fnatic are”. Fnatic is singular—it’s one team. If you’re referring to the team, you say “is”. If you want plural, you need more than one subject—“The members of Fnatic”.

Have you ever been to a live football game? For every minute of action, there’s about 3 minutes of guys standing around waiting for the guy with the headset and the clipboard to give the go sign.

Did you seriously just try to say that Football is more violent then Rugby?

Oh relax. I love football but I can also see how aspects of it are really dumb, and last night’s game was especially awful.

In fairness, the NFL has WAY too many breaks and tv timeouts, it really kills the game. People whine about baseball being long, but I think football is longer.

So, while my default setting is snark,

Is Garden State a great film? No. But it’s not a bad one either. The soundtrack was great, though (Disclosure: A friend of mine has a song on the soundtrack so I may not be impartial).

Personally, I totally agree with Fr. Jenkins on both counts, and I think Tom’s argument about what Fr. Jenkins ought to do to show his bona fides would be destructive.
