The dude was a deranged lunatic and trying to piggyback that crap on is the same as the above examples or blaming all worship of Islam for terrorist acts.

People are seriously attributing this guy's behavior to MRAs and entitlement? Can we also work into blaming video games, heavy metal, and dungeons and dragons, too?
That's why I find this "Look at this crazy photoshop action!" stuff to be so much more obnoxious than the photoshopping itself. More than half the time, the stuff hasn't even been retouched much—it's just that that's how people's bodies are made. Bodies are weird! Sometimes they look weird! Everybody poring over your…
"Filed to: PHOTOSHOP OF HORRORS"
The real horror is that Jezebel keeps posting these kinds of articles. Paying out tens of thousands of dollars for an incredibly unnecessary takedown of Lena Dunham's Vogue cover was bad. Putting this model on display as a "tragic mistake" when she's actually just built that way is…
Why is Jezebel so quick to constantly accuse women's bodies of being unnatural or in some way wrong?
Show me where I sad anything about magical, mystical misandry. I'll wait...
Check out the above link. There are tons of tumblr accounts of women taking up space with their bodies, obnoxiously. I don't think I'm being misogynistic by suggesting that women are people too and just as capable of being obnoxious in a public space.
I'm not defending men. I'm saying that it hurts feminism when you try to attribute crappy behavior that belongs to both genders to a particular gender. There are enough real injustices going on without having to resort to this kind of rage-baiting, which distracts people from actual gender issues.
Ummm, I took the time to write something thoughtful. All you've done is insult me and swear. So who's the troll?
Then how about you ladies stop putting your purse and other personal crap on the seats next to you! I have seen lots of women who take up several seats. But as usual, Jezebel only rails against me!
This whole railing against men for taking up too much room on the subaway/bus is pure sexism at its worst! There are plenty of women who take up three seats, one seat on each side for her purse and the other for her iPhone. And don't get me started on the moms with SUV sized strollers.
I agree spread eagle is a problem, but I've literally had someone grab my leg and put me knee to knee before. She even acted surprised when I jumped up.
Woman MAD because photos show men taking up too much room. WOMAN never take too much room with shopping bags, purses, and other items. Where is my caveman loin cloth?
I've been on the subway every day for the past three years. I've seen just as many women take up too much space as men. By singling out men, the people taking these photographs are effectively saying that only men are expected to be polite, which is patriarchal b.s. Women are equal and have an equal obligation to be…
...by which you mean "demand that nobody forces you to live by the rules of their religion."
I'm sorry, but in my humble opinion trigger warnings are just another iteration of political correctness run amok. Everybody wants to be babied and protected from offense at all times. Grow a spine, people. (mind you, this is coming from a bleeding heart liberal with PTSD out the wazoo) Nobody is truly triggered…
There's video of this. She was convicted for a reason. Not everyone is a troll because they disagree with you. Her punishment seems fair.
Nobody leap elbows someone in the face as a"reflex". Watch the video...she's full of shit. Yes the cops did horrible things throughout OWS—that doesn't retroactively justify the wrong that she did. If you think that hitting a cop in the face is ok, just because they're a cop, you're part of the problem. You're the…
I can definitely understand that. I'm sure I can be a basket-kicker sometimes, but I try hard not to! (If I did, I'd be out of a job!)
Agree with you completely. On some sites, something as bland as "I can see your point, but I really think that most of the time <insert reasonable minority opinion> is more accurate," will get you lambasted and harassed.
Trolling and bullying are both real problems, but they've had their definitions expanded to…
