Why? I have a hyphenated last name (well I hyphenated it myself when I moved here because in Mexico we have two last names) and I have no problems.

40 years ago, my mom kept her last name when she married my dad. She gave her daughters her last name, her son my dad’s. I read this to mean that she originally thought that they did, but then discovered they were just more likely to support the movement though no one was reporting on it - because she goes on to say that they were just twice as likely to report on it (when all women in general were polled), not the FIRST to bring it to
