I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that this guy calls his wife Mother and refuses to treat women like equal humans and not conniving sex hypnotists lusting over his protuberance, or that he’s playing second fiddle to Donald Fucking Trump.

Plenty of people skate by, myself included. Working hard enough to not be in trouble is a thing, and works very well IMO. I can’t speak to your company or situation, just my own, but I started 3 years ago, got a bonus and a raise, and would have expected the same for someone working harder than I was.
My grandmother was born in a 2 room cabin on an isolated reservation in North Dakota. She was raised there with her 11 brothers and sisters, where they farmed and hunted for food. It was a rough life, as you can imagine. She ate potato peelings in the winter from the neighbors garbage but she tells that story fondly.…
I think you mean housing for involuntary immigrants, and descendants thereof .
“Slave cabin? Um, I think you mean On-Premise Worker Habitat.”
The last pic is actually from a few years ago, but look at that shit. Look at it!
The problem here is that youtubers aren’t use to this sort of attention. For years they were celebrities in their own little bubble. You either subscribed to their channel and liked everything they did or you just didn’t bother following them. Anyone who would call out something a big youtuber did as bad or stupid was…
I would like to provide another friendly reminder to everyone here that major brands pulling their ads off Youtube are not a violation of any YouTubers’ free speech. This is because only the government is prevented from restricting free speech. To say that businesses are violating the free speech of bigots by pulling…
I wish this was just the rule. The biggest pushback I get is asking for children to be safely buckled or restrained and having their parents refuse.
Exactly.
Also, does he not have any aides that are women? (Probably not) How on earth would they be able to do their job if they could never grab lunch with him in the cafeteria and talk over things?
My hatred of Matt Walsh knows no bounds. I grew up in a religiously conservative community and people like him piss me off. Fuck the patriarchal evangelical conservatism that passes for his brand of Christianity.
It’s honestly emboldened white people in general (disclosure: white person, here).
I hope you’re right. I was just having a conversation yesterday about how the real opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference. The best revenge for these fuckwads isn’t that history remembers them as bad people, but that they aren’t remembered at all.
Remember when someone described Roger Ailes balls as looking like old hamburger meat (During the sexual misconduct allegations)? That’s how I imagine most of these guys to be. Nasty, small-dicked and generally repulsive when their clothes come off as though Hieronymus Bosch was using their nether-regions as…
One really sick part about this whole thing is that this is how A LOT of white people talk when no one else is around. The Trump era has made people think this is OK to not only say while at home, but on national television. People need to be publicly shamed for saying shit like this.
yes. I’m a black writer, sometimes for television. The authenticity issue is extra problematic when you realize so many of the actors are trained, but then they don’t get to play Westernized characters but archetypes. They don’t get to play themselves at all. Feels to me that Hollywood still feels like ‘normal’ people…
My mother, who grew up in the Glaswegian version of those Dublin slums, found that book almost too painful to read because it was basically her childhood experience too. Poverty is frightening, bad for your physical and mental health and NOT a thing tourists should want to get an authentic feel for. While her eyes…
but somehow managed to illegally spy on Trump
I thought retired congressman John Dingell summed it up nicely:
