I am severely allergic - as in, constant rounds of steroids and always carry an epi-pen and inhaler, and I have 9 (yes, NINE) dogs. And three cats.

Maybe. My sarcasm meter has been pegged for several months now, so it’s hard to tell the difference between sarcasm and stupid. Sadly, assuming stupid instead of sarcasm lately has been a pretty safe bet.
I feel you. My dog basically saved me from extremely bad thoughts when my cat passed. Prior to that, it was the cat that grounded me.
The way I figured it was that I was violently allergic to cats when I was growing up but my first pet on my own was my baby girl (who was taken way way way too soon from me). The dog, I didn’t even realize I was allergic until a week into having her. I figured I’d get used to it eventually.
Same. Whenever I’ve had a bad day, walking into my apartment and being greeted by the happiest animal in the world is the only thing that keeps me sane sometimes. Plus she makes me get off my ass and exercise because we don’t have a yard for her to run around in.

leave him alone...allergy disclaimers SHOULD be put on articles about things known cause allergic reactions...its exactly like trigger warning beyond the fact that it doesn’t really effect anyone and has no obvious or legitimate purpose
I’m (mildly) allergic to my dog. I’m pretty allergic to many dogs. I love pit bulls with a passion but just getting near one gives me hives.
Jesus, Whatever. Clearly the article was not saying that dogs are important to people who are deathly allergic to dogs.
I’m glad someone else noticed it was a first generation Probe, and not a second generation. I think that ad is from 1991.
Just when I thought automakers weren’t paying any attention to the needs and desires of the true enthusiasts, we get…
