I definitely think about it with my friends’ children. I almost feel bad saying it here because I know that there are plenty of parents reading the news and this comment thread and just freaking the fuck out for their children. 

Climate change is definitely a factor for me. I will say I have never felt that I REALLY wanted kids, but I am now in my mid 30s, and I am finding myself really getting a sense of longing from friends’ children. But because I know I’m not willing to put us through the hardship of having a family with too few…
