Your definition of rap here is incredibly narrow and basic. I encourage you to listen to Rakim and Kool Keith (just a couple of examples) and analyze the rhyme schemes. And also know that there is rap (such as Themselves) that does not utilize rhyming at all. It is a rich and varied genre.
