Rowling is a cunt, just like you.
Rowling is a cunt, just like you.
Imagine if you devoted 1/10th of the energy you expended defending a billionaire on anything else. Like, for example, the people she brazenly wishes to disenfranchise.
Agreed. My only experience with it is the TurboGrafx original, which I loved as a kid. That’s what it should look like.
SE could sell a copy to every person on the planet and somehow still be disappointed at their performance.
For sure. I’ve watched some gameplay vids and the animation is a bit stilted, which feels wrong for a POP game. The original practically pioneered rotoscoped animation in games.
So what are the other reasons?
That’s fine if you aren’t really interested in the game, but if you actually want to play this game, that’s a big time cheapskate move... PS Plus and GamePass is great, but like this man said: you do not want the subscription model to overtake traditional game sales. It will dramatically change the industry and…
I don’t like what that Ubisoft Exec said either, so I’ll buy the physical PS5 version of this and actually own the game, forever. I get people that want to pirate it based off of what the guy said, but the developers just wanted to make a good game, and it looks like they did, so I’m going to support them. Fuck that…
Your loss, I guess. There’s so much stuff in the game, it’s easily worth the $70 price tag IMO. It also has a ton of replayability, so it’s not the best for a service where you might lose access to it before you’re done.
It looks like someone just typed “Splatoon Fortnite ArtStation Shooter” into midjourney and this is what it spat out
When the executives behind the games I play choose to employ technology that degrades the experience, steals from artists, devalues human expression, and is purely designed as an excuse to lay off the employees that actually make the games... it does massively impact my experience.
Call me crazy but I prefer video games that have effort put into them.
It’s bright and flashy in all the wrong ways. Just watched the trailer in the article and I swear it gave a mild headache. Doesn’t help that the character designs are offensively bland. Who workshopped this into existence? Not wishing it to fail, but this seems like a misplaced investment.
I played the open test they did a little while ago and it does certainly play differently than Splatoon, but covering the arena in your color is still pretty important even if it doesn’t directly affect the scoring system, so I don’t think Splatoon comparisons are unfair at all.
Sounds like a convenient smokescreen to distract from the fact that Foamstars was recently exposed for using AI art.
Who cares what creative companies come up with? They may fail miserably, and critics can criticize. Fans can write thoughtful but supportive letters. Poor work does not excuse harassment, end of story, and there are middle aged men getting away with having the emotional regulation of a toddler.
I just don’t see how that’s relevatory to this discussion...
Revelatory, revelatory…you’re saying there are no surprises in the dlc, no revelations. “Relevatory” isn’t even a word, I’m typing on my phone and it will not physically let me type “relevatory,” the website is putting a red line under the word when I do force it to let me spell it wrong. C’mon, it’s not even in the…
Im not really trying to do an “on the other hand”. In fact that is a key part of what I am trying to get at.
