Another thing nobody seems to understand: Money isn’t real. We made it up. Once upon a time it was tied to a real resource (gold, again, only valuable because we all agree it is, not because of its intrinsic utility), but now it’s not, it’s a “fiat currency” tied to the overall strength of the country issuing it.

What the “riches” don’t understand is that eventually things will be too expensive, period, and they will lose all that money they’re hoarding, in recovering the costs.
