Enjoyed the tone, and it taking place in an abandoned neighborhood forgotten by the world around it. Everything else was only interesting due to novelty, but by and large pretty ridiculous, and not the fun kind. Definitely yelled at the TV more than once. Hard to root for a ‘hero’ if they’re going to be professionally

A trainer... I’ve seen those mentioned over the years but have never looked into them. Is is like a modern day Game Genie? Genuinely curious. I usually just stick to Medium and tough it out, but the option to remove the grind is appealing. The only game in recent memory I went hardcore on was DOOM Eternal.

Slowly forcing my way through the Remake , and I swear it plays worse than the original. Which I had replayed around the time it hit PC initially after already wrapping it on 360 years before.

Any way you slice it first game hasn’t aged as well as I’d hoped. Can be downright frustrating at times.

Appreciate this write up.  I’m assuming this leans heavily into the “it’s beyond human perception” as part of the aesthetic, when in reality it’s glorified Rorschach stills. Lump middling gameplay on top, and I can comfortably sit this one out. Maybe I’ll watch a playthrough.

Truly curious how it will perform on Ps5, since I also have both and a Series S. Guess I’ll watch the Digital Foundry comparison and then decide. My 3080 should work for Medium settings with Low Raytracing.

Not really insulting him, Sam almost always mugs for the camera. It’s like his thing. Doesn’t bother me one whit, but I can see others finding it mildly obnoxious.

Kind of tuned out on MK after XL. Wishing that WB sells NetherRealm off to someone potentially less insanely greedy. Sucks cause MK1 looks fun.

And before anyone jumps on my ass, it’s my dime, I can do what I want with it. My FOMO gland shriveled up years ago. Just picked up MK11 after it was feature complete in one

Have the same setup, with 32GB of RAM. Just a ballpark guess based on the charts we can expect Medium settings with Raytracing set to low upscaled to 1440 at 30FPS. With Raytracing off maybe 60FPS at similar settings. Might be able to bump up textures up to High/Ultra. 4K is probably out of the question above 30FPS

Will do. Thank you!

If you say so.

I didn’t complain about anything. Just seems like you need to relax, friend.

You should switch to decaf.

There has to be some kind of contractual stipulation in place for download thresholds. They aren’t giving out infinite keys.

Now that’s some big-brain shit right there.

Yeah other than the weird chase mechanics for the final mission it wasn’t terribly hard. But her character was so grating I eventually just moved on to something else, cause the plat wasn’t worth it.

My rationale is that every game I claim is less money in Epic’s hands. Whether I own them already or not.

So do your part!

Only just played through both games on Ps5 this year. Got a sealed copy of Morales Ultimate on Ebay for 40 bucks back in April, so I’m pretty fresh to it too. Plus I’m a total idiot for beautiful graphics, one of those “upgrades GPU more than needed” guys(*but only on sale or used*).

Didn’t read too deep, but ‘F3' and a quick search for “Screwball” relieves me to no end. Hope that character was fully retired in this sequel.

I think the traffic amount was based on the Raytracing modes, but it seems they’re comparing Fidelity to Fidelity, so this is impressive. Personally I stuck to raytraced perf mode, and thought Remaster was quite the looker. Very pumped for tomorrow.

Good refresher. Started Morales immediately after wrapping Spiderman and it’s DLC, I was burned out, so this saves me going back to finish it(Morales) before Friday.
