Skip The Disneyland Hotel. Go all out and stay and the Grand Californian. Drink at Tiki Sams.

We did WDW during Christmas last year and its a “Never again then” for me.

I have never heard of “Hannah Gadsby” but she is obviously entitled to her opinion.

San Francisco residents are annoyed about the arena and skyrocketing property values, Oakland fans are annoyed about the move. Everyone agrees that tickets will be completely unaffordable. So no, I don’t think anyone is particularly happy.

Thank you for this. The narrative about the Warriors over the past four of five years has been, “Fuck this noveau-rich tech bullshit NBA team and their bandwagon fans.” And to some extent that narrative is accurate. But that narrative misses the fans, many of whom also root for the A’s next door, who have been filling

As an Oakland native and a long time Warriors fan, I’m riding out the this final year enjoying every moment I possibly can. These last six or seven years have been a basketball fans dream. A dynasty team of the ages. Somehow every player I liked ended up on the warriors from Igoudala to David West and even Boogie

As a season ticket holder for the last 15 years, this season has been incredibly bittersweet, me and my dad will not be renewing at the new arena because of the absurd seat licensing fees and 30% markup on the price of game tickets on top of that (not to mention the inconvenient location almost a mile south of the

I always loved how Oakland seemed to be the last hold out in the mass influx of money and gentrification into the Bay Area. San Francisco has been mostly unaffordable for most of my life and absolutely unaffordable for the last 15 years. Still, as the Bay became more homogeneous, it felt like people intetionally

For Bay Area folks out there: have you met a single person who’s enthusiastic about the move? Because I have not.

Oh, come on, you lined it right up for me. :)

I think people ultimately just got worked up about Daenerys and Jaime not turning out to be “heroes” after people got emotionally invested in them. While I agree the execution and pacing could have been better, I suspect that they would have been disappointed regardless.

The ending will be the same on a surface level for sure. I fully believe Dany going full mad queen was always GRRM’s intent.

I also believe that when he finally writes it it will actually make sense and be much more satisfying.

For real. It’s not the writers fault these people suck at figuring out subtext (and even plenty of blatant text)

Why its as if GRRM himself has something to say about this:

I really want to sit with a tank full of gasoline right next to my testicles. The idea of a chain spinning at high speed, ready to whip free at any moment, under my ass, seems reasonable. Hot gasses from the engine should escape via a metal tube that conducts heat, right beside my leg.

My first bike was an SV650 which I bought for $3000. It was in impeccable shape except for a tiny dent on the gas tank. Low miles and I honestly fully expected to drop the bike a few times before I got better. I had passed the MSF class with flying colors, but the real world riding is alot different.

Between The Last Starfighter and Night of the Comet, I had a SERIOUS teenager crush on Catherine Mary Stewart.

See, when you meet new people and you DON’T have to explain it to them, those are what we call “friend candidates.”

I have the opening of the game as my ringtone, and have to explain it at least once a week

The Last Starfighter has my favorite character ever in it. Flippy Monocule Guy.
