Rich people are clueless. I mean what do they have to lose? This is all probably entertaining for them or something to discuss over cocktails. It has no meaningful impact on their life. That’s why Kanye can tweet out crazy ass shit and get props from Roseanne Barr. This is all like a reality show to them.

That’s why the whole “self-reflection” and “listening and learning” thing is all bullshit. They’ve always known it was wrong to expose their genitals, grope, leer, grab, fondle, assault and rape. And they got off on doing it anyway. All the reflection, listening and learning can’t undo what they’ve already done.

It’s a fallacy to think that everyone who does something shitty to someone else needs therapy. Sometimes they just need a stern talking to, sometimes a loss of a promising career and sometimes a lengthy prison sentence.

I feel you on pretty much all of that :( What I hate the most is that comfort food is SO satisfying, and healthy food just doesn’t compare. I know it’s all about sugars and carbs and butter being addictive to your brain, but that doesn’t make it any easier to avoid them...

In that article about McCabe, it mentions that Jeff Sessions accused McCabe of a lack of candor while under oath. That seems ultimately hypocritical considering his “Aww shucks, I don’t think I can recall. I’m just a lukewarm mint julep poured into a possum suit” shtick during his time in the hot seat.

NY Times, ABC News, others now confirming the Feds seized recorded materials from the Cohen raids. “Lordy, I hope there are tapes” indeed.
