IDK, For me hearing how awful things are now for them is a great pleasure. But I’m a little twisted.

I would even accept the “painful” if there was some acknowledgment of the pain they caused others. Is it really that hard to write a good apology?

My husband works at Pixar, and said quite a few people were miffed by that line as well. As well as the victim narrative that, now that they’ve been caught, they’ll seek out redemption via therapy and that’ll make everything OK. Right?

I’m exhausted by the fucking apologies. An apology usually has the assumption (esp in these cases) that the receiver will accept the apology and move into forgiveness.
