There’s no way an average person could get security clearances to work on projects with NASA, etc. with such a background, jackass statements, and public behavior.

How strange that it’s hard to move $80k Chevy Tahoes.

Nothing the most fervent freemarketeers hate more than the prospect of a more-free market that actually will assess their value.

No benefit of having all cars be PHEV or Hybrid at minimum? Surely you jest. Building infrastructure doesn’t happen overnight, for free or without it’s own environmental drawback, not to mention getting all the raw materials for batteries. Plus, building PHEV or Hybrids can be done easily and quickly compared to

Sir, your Bolt EV is approaching its 10,000 mile service. We Recommend the following services:

Maybe the bigger issue is the fact that the CEO’s wage has increased 40%, leaving scraps for the Union Workers. Of course their wages have to be approved by the board and who wouldn’t approve that. The incestuous board of directors fraternity is utterly ridiculous.  Was supposed to be governance and checks and

I have three kids. The younger ones (24 and 22) live at home. Neither cost us a lot of money now and all three financed college themselves (youngest is still taking college classes).

To my eye, this is among the best looking in the crowded compact crossover market. I have no interest in any of them, but I like what Dodge has done here.

$1k a month is a lot for a car, even if you make good money. $1k for a car is well over half my mortgage and I could never do that, even if I made well more than I do now. It would just hurt so bad to have that loan.

It really does, pretty much the exact kind of place to have for charging stops, stop, wander, micturate, ingest, all while your car chugs down electrons on a fast charger, get enough range for another two hours or so on the freeway. Would do wonders for road trip anxiety in more rural areas.

The irony is that a buc-ees makes an even better argument as an EV charging station

Ford losing money on EVs as they ramp up production and pay off R&D costs is expected, and them signing deals to help with ramping up production and potentially reduce materials costs is, of course, good news.

Any massive investment in new tech is going to be initially met with a loss. I mean Microsoft still makes XBOX

My parents ask me this all the time and why I keep up with my 2010 Odyssey that is paid off. It runs, it works, and gets me from A-B without a hassle. Yea I have to toss some new ignition coils or change the power steering pump but shit that cost me like 200 dollars. They pay 800+ monthly per car and still have the

Governor Kay Ivey has already declared EVs by 2035. Meemaw’s a conservative and she’s already pissed off several gas distributors across the state.

Honestly, it’s hilarious when our mutated, incestuous capitalism is exposed to this degree.

They choked supply, then only produced the highest trimlines, then charged over sticker, then played games with allocations, then packed cars with dealer installed options, until cars cost what a small home did pre-covid.

I hope

I’m fairly sure it will come to pass sooner or later. Most new cars on dealer lots are financed as well, so the longer they sit there, the more interest the dealer has to pay on it. Since the interest rates are up on everybody, I’m sure they are paying more as well. I’m down to let them stew awhile.

Dear greedy dealers who have been screwing your customers for YEARS now: FUCK you. No, seriously... F-U-C-K. Y-O-U. No sympathy from me whatsoever. In fact, I can’t WAIT until the traditional dealership model - along with all of the same old tired bullshit games they’ve been playing for DECADES - is dead and buried

Dealers are upset they need to offer incentives after a few years of hyper-aggresively fucking over customers.

Dealers can F themselves. They deserve eternity in fiery pit of hell. Additional Dealer Markup, Vin etching, nitrogen in tires, inflated doc fees, paint protection, mandatory tint, fabric protection, and the list continues on dealer profit schemes to rape and pillage the consumer.

As a consumer this makes me wish for a feedback mechanism that shoves it in a dealers face that they gave up a sale over $xxx. I’m sure they do this naturally when all the salesmen start complaining about not being able to eat because the manager won’t let them sell any car below $2500 markup.
