I’d go 1)Metallica, 2)Sabbath, 3)Maiden, 4)Slayer, 5)Priest, and 6)Misfits. I am admittedly the least familiar with Misfits, as I mostly know them through Metallica’s covers. I don’t mean any disrespect towards Slayer by saying this, but they are a bit too one-dimensional for my taste. If we were ranking who was “most

seeing Misfits on a metal ranking doesn’t sit right with me

They are consistent, about 1/3 the cost per mile, I don’t need to go out of my way to get it, and the beautiful part of electricity is that you can produce it yourself with a nice array of solar panels on the roof.

huh, never heard that I always use “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good”

I’d pull the misfits off and put maybe pantera in, the Misfits are more punk.

Awwww, no Pantera?

I appreciate this take, but disagree with your rankings.

Do we want new mines? Well no, it would be great if we could do without them.

Using electricity to make heat is one of the least efficient uses of energy possible.
Natural gas is cleaner and more efficient.

People demand shit all the time without regard of the infrastructure needed to provide it.

I think some of the writers actually think they can’t even learn about this stuff, because it will be like reading some kind of satanic text that may corrupt them.

That’s exactly the point though. You have your allocation as a preorder holder and even there, that you were entitled to gain access to the listing at the IPO price was a “gift” and not the typical approach.

Rivian shares dropped 10 percent following the news. That seems like a lot, but Bloomberg reports the stock was still trading 40 percent up from its IPO

I’m about an hour and a half from the factory. My count is at 3 car carriers, one of which only had 2 trucks on it in seemingly random locations for... reasons?

VW having problems with electronics and software? Quelle surprise!

Diesel engines in anything other than HD trucks have pretty much always been a niche product in this country though. Europe is different, but that’s why I called the take Euro-centric.

I’m inclined to say VW getting caught over its diesel cheating has been more impactful
