This is a bad move on Skype's part. As an iPhone 4 user - I was actually looking forward to video calling via the iPhone and a desktop Skype user.
Displaying signal strength is more an art form than actual science.

I recorded some HD video with my iPhone 4 over the weekend and used iMovie to edit the video on my Mac Mini.
These jobs were posted before the iPhone 4 was officially released to the public (June 24).
