If the planets are procedurally generated then I would expect to be able to walk across the entire planet. Now, is that something I’d actually want to do from a gameplay standpoint? Hell no. However, from a technical standpoint, it should be entirely feasible if the planets are procedural.

I had been a huge Nintendo fan but jumped ship and preordered both the PS1 and PS2 for launch. For the PS1 was such an exciting time because it seemed like every few months there was a game that did stuff that you never saw before (or pushed game mechanics to the forefront that had been very niche before).

A “buck” more than vinyl records? If only. In those days vinyl was typically 7.98 vs CDs 13.98 and up. the scam was intense.

I quickly typed in “Kai Cenat charity” into google. Which you could have also done...and found that he recently gave 10,000 dollars to a kid fighting scoliosis and a rare heart condition on twitch.

If they’re doing little QoL features like this, I’d like the ability to:

Software developer: “Hey, we’re doing a massive Star Wars games with tons of planets to visit, including Tatoonie!”

Star Wars fans: “Fuck you, assholes! We’re sick of Tatoonie! This game that won’t be out for years obviously sucks and we’re sending death threats to your children!”

“So we’ve got an entire galaxy worth of planets and locales we can use, leading to an almost infinite number of stories, any ideas?”

I’ve always said the same thing about movies. Don’t remake classic movies or cult classics, remake duds that missed the mark but had a good premise. Like something that could have been really good if they did x, y, & z.
